Czechs and Slovaks mark 17 November as the Day of Struggle for Freedom and Democracy, in memory of the events of 1939 and 1989. The Velvet Revolution opened the way to free enterprise — and with it to a games industry that has grown since the nineties into what it is today.

Games Week celebrates what that freedom made possible: games from big studios and solo developers alike, in its sixth edition and for the first time together with the Slovak Game Developers Association.
